Know the engine
Year, make, model — and the engine if it's not the original. "2006 F-250 6.0 Power Stroke" tells us more than "my truck."
Describe the symptom or goal
Blown head gasket, wiped cam, planned bore size, target build — whatever you know. Guessing costs both of us time.
Bring parts clean and complete
If you're dropping off heads, a block, or a crank, keep the hardware together. We'll measure everything either way — it just moves faster.
